"Our two daughters joined Actyve in 2021 and have had an exceptional experience at the club.  Lainey coached our older daughter for her u14 season and the growth we saw in virtually every aspect of her game under Lainey’s leadership was remarkable.  From her setting, passing and hitting technique, to her court awareness, volleyball IQ and her presence on the court, Lainey helped her to improve in every way. 

Most importantly, over the course of the season, Lainey continuously fed our daughter’s love the for the sport of volleyball by creating a positive coaching environment where the expectations are high but never beyond a player’s capabilities. Our daughter developed a deep admiration, respect and love for Lainey and her teammates.  She sees all of them as a part of her family, and we are so grateful to Lainey for the positive impact she has had on our daughter’s club experience.

Every player at Actyve, whether they are coached directly by Lainey or not, gets the benefit of the culture she has built as the Director of the club. "I have always enjoyed playing volleyball but I truly fell in love for the game when Lainey became my coach. She is extremely knowledgeable about the sport and notices the minor details that make all the difference when you are trying to master a new skill. The technique she teaches really prepares players to play at the next level and she inspires her players to work to their full potential every single practice. I noticed an immense improvement in my level of play in every aspect of the game with her coaching and she motivated me to play at the collegiate level. She has taught me key lessons on and off the court that I will use throughout my college career and the rest of my life.
