Personal
Mykah grew up in Aledo, Texas where she began playing volleyball at age 11 for a club in Dallas called TAV. While she played there, TAV was voted the national club of the year nearly every year. She had a record 7 year tenure on TAV’s top team earning many awards and accolades, even recording a record breaking undefeated season in 17 Open on her way to winning the National Championship. At the same time, Mykah had a highly established beach career with 692 Beach Volleyball club, also winning the National Championship on the beach in her 17’s year. After graduating high school Mykah went on to play indoor and beach volleyball at Long Beach State, earning starting positions on both teams in her first year and even winning Conference Player of the Week awards in her first two weeks as a Freshman. Throughout her three year career, Mykah won many Big West Conference Awards for both athletics and academics. When her playing career ended short in her junior year due to injury, Mykah immediately focused on her coaching career as a volunteer assistant coach for Long Beach State, a club coach for Goldenwest Volleyball Club, and a high school coach for Los Alamitos High School. Mykah graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice and owns her own business in Huntington Beach, and consistently maintains a connection to the game through coaching.
Coaching Experience
Mykah began her coaching career while playing at TAV. She then continued coaching throughout college for Goldenwest Volleyball Club. It was here that her teams earned trips to Nationals every year. Upon completing her playing career, Mykah joined the staff at Long Beach State as a volunteer where they were runner ups in the Big West Conference.

Playing Experience
Mykah had a successful juniors career playing for Texas Advantage Volleyball, Aledo High School, and Southlake High School, where she qualified for the national championships in the open division seven years in a row, medaling three times while playing. Throughout her career at TAV, Mykah was continually nominated as captain by her teammates and coaches, helping lead her team to unprecedented records like an undefeated 17 Open season. Mykah won All-Tournament at nationals twice in her career in addition to many high school volleyball awards and accolades such as a Texas State Championship bronze medal, a Texas State Championship Silver Medal, Defensive Player of the Year for her school district in Texas in her senior year, as well as First Team All-District in her junior and senior year, First Team All-Region in her junior and senior year, and First Team All-State in her senior year. She was named on Prep Volleyball’s Defensive Dandy’s list each year in high school. Additionally, Mykah competed at USA High Performance Beach Volleyball Camps and the Beach National Championships every year in her career, ultimately winning the National Championship in her 17s year.
